Ottawa and District Senior League
Message from Rod Matheson (September 19, 2009)
The league is about to start its 11th season. The first games are on October 8 at the Hunt Club. At the moment the league has 24 teams and is full but teams who would like to get on the waiting list or individuals who would like to spare or be put on a team should contact Rod at 613-238-7056  rodmatheson@rogers.com

HISTORY

By 1999, a fair number of competitive curlers were tumbling into the ranks of the senior/masters category so it seemed like an appropriate time to start a league where each team would put up a significant entry fee. Money would be awarded for each game won and the champion would be the team which won the most money. By the fourth year, the size of the league was capped at 24 teams.
